Dare to Love Me is a romantic-comedy Korean drama adapted from a Webtoon.
The story begins with Kim Hong-Do (Lee Yoo-Young) who interns at a fashion company and works for the design team.
But the treatment of other employees towards Hong Do is not good, just because he is an intern.
In order to achieve his dream of working at a well-known fashion brand.
Hong Do accepted all the bullying with a positive attitude.
On the other hand, a young man named Shin Yoon-Bok (Kim Myung-Soo) is a Confucian scholar who was given a mandate by his family to carry on the family tradition.
He is required to restore priceless Korean cultural artifacts.
His hereditary family looks like Joseon people and comes from that royal dynasty.
Yoon Bok's family lives in Sungsan Village with elders who still uphold Korean culture.
Even so, Yoon Bok's young soul still wants to enjoy technological advances.
He himself dreams of becoming a popular webtoon writer.
For the sake of his ideals, the young man runs to Seoul and meets Kim Hong Do by accident.
Until Shin Yoon-Bok and Kim Hong Do are romantically involved which is hindered by the older female character Noona.
Dare to Love Me will air on May 13, 2024 and can be watched on Netflix, KBS2, Viki, Wavve and also Netflix.
This drama is directed by Jang Yang Ho.
The story itself is an adaptation of a webcomic called Treat Me Carelessly written by Sun Woo.
The webcomic was published in 2020-2021 on Naver, with the original title Hamburo Dahaejwo.
Carrying the romantic drama genre and the plan is for Dare to Love Me to air in 16 episodes.
